Due to costs, I have had to increase the price of the pens from $25.00 to $30.00 and this will be effective from the 1st of July.
Hi Gavin
Great choice Gavin,Turtles are gentle, peaceful creatures who 'fly' gracefully through the sea. The waters around Australia are home to six of the world's sea turtle species. Sadly, all of those species are at risk and the hawksbill is critically endangered.Your turtle adoption will help protect these amazing animals and the reefs they call home and find innovative ways to build up their numbers.
Hi Gavin,
Right now, there are all kinds of dangers that threaten sea turtles' survival. There are six species of sea turtles in the waters around Australia, and most of them are endangered.
The good news is, you're already helping make a difference for these majestic mariners in so many ways through your WWF-Australia turtle adoption.
Hi Gavin,
There is hope, and you can help turn things around for sea turtles, Gavin
Ocean plastics
Turtles often mistake ocean plastics for food - which can be deadly. You're now part of a global effort to get governments, corporations and citizens to reduce plastic and keep it out of the ocean.
Recycled Pen Art is a unique concept in which recycled products are used to create beautiful pens.
The body of each pen is handmade from plastic caps or from intravenous medication plastic caps or from recycled wood.
Plastic caps can take up to 450 to 1000 years to break down in landfill.
Each pen has its own unique character.
When a pen is turned, I have no idea as to what the end product will look like, until the pen sleeve is finished and polishing.
Why the pens are so unique, this is due to the fact that no two pens will look the same and when you buy your pen from Recycled Pen Art, there is not other pen that will look the same as yours.
I love making the pens as they are unique and my partner and I are hoping that we will make a small difference to our beautiful world.
As part of our commitment Recycled Pen Art will be donating $1.00 per pen sold to a charity called"Sea Turtle Foundation”
My partner and I both work in the health industry, it was my partner who asked me if I could use the intravenous medication plastic caps to make something from them instead of throwing the caps away. Over time I managed to turn the caps into pen sleeves to form part of a beautiful unique pen.
Thank you, everyone for collecting the intravenous medication caps and plastic caps.
Recycled Pen Art will post its pens to any country where a courier company can deliver the pen too (Note charges will apply). All pens will be tracked and a tracking number will be sent to the buyer to tack their product. All pens will be posteed within 3 to 5 working days.
Yes, Recycled Pen Art can try and make a pen to order. Just send Recycled Pen Art a message via the message tab at the bottom of this page with your colours and pen type that you would like Recycled Pen Art to make. Recycled Pen Art will communicate with you regarding your order.
